Rescue Diver Certification
Do you want to learn how to respond effectively in an emergency situation?
The PADI Rescue Diver program focuses on developing essential underwater and surface skills that help ensure your own safety as well as the safety of your dive buddy. By learning and applying emergency response procedures, you become a more aware, confident, and responsible diver.
As a Rescue Diver, you will learn how to recognize, manage, and respond to potentially dangerous situations—both in and out of the water—before they escalate. This is a highly interactive and rewarding course that significantly strengthens your confidence, situational awareness, and sense of responsibility as a diver.
How Do I Become a PADI Rescue Diver?
The certification consists of two main steps:
During open water sessions, you will apply everything you have learned through a series of rescue exercises and realistic scenarios.
Rescue exercises include:
– Self-rescue skills (confined or open water)
– Assisting a tired diver
– Rescuing a panicked diver
– Managing a missing diver
– Assisting a diver in distress underwater or at the surface
– Rescuing an unresponsive diver at the surface
– Emergency management and use of required equipment
– Towing an unresponsive diver
– Emergency oxygen use, rescue breaths, CPR, and first aid
– Participation in Rescue Scenarios 1 & 2
Requirements for «Rescue Diver»
Completion of a First Aid / CPR course within the last 24 months
Course Cost 400€.

Minimum course duration: 3 days
Courses are available year-round.
